Zovirax Cold Sore Cream is used to treat cold sores The primary use of Zovirax Cold Sore Cream is to treat cold sores, a viral infection that causes fever and soreness. Zovirax Cream should be applied 15 to 30 minutes before the expected symptoms of cold sores start to disappear. Wash your hands with soap and water after applying Zovirax Cream. You can apply Zovirax Cream up to 4 hours before your period pain is at its best.
To apply Zovirax Cream, apply a thin layer to the affected area and gently squeeze the sufficient supply of cream onto the affected area. Then apply Zovirax Cream gently soak this product for at least 4 hours after it is applied.
Zovirax Cream should not be used together with other treatments for herpes simplex virus.

Acyclovir (Acyclovir HCl) has been a drug for the treatment of herpes infections in adults and adolescents (from childhood onwards) since the 1970’s. Although it is not a cure, it is effective in reducing recurrences. However, there have been reports of the possibility of a recurrence with Acyclovir and other antiviral drugs such as Fluconazole (Zovirax) and Lamivudine (Lamictal), which are used to treat certain infections (from the immunocompromised population).
The first reported cases of Acyclovir-associated aplastic anaemia, a rare condition in which a blood component is deposited into the bloodstream causing an abnormal immune response and causing an organ failure. In 1995, a new study published in the journal JAMA Internal Medicine confirmed that Acyclovir was a safe drug for the treatment of Acyclovir-associated aplastic anaemia. The study, which was published in the journal, was the first of its kind to assess the effect of Acyclovir on the immune system.
In 2004, Acyclovir was approved for the treatment of severe Acyclovir-associated (SAVA) in children. This is a reversible, but potentially life-threatening condition. Although, the new study, which used blood samples, has shown the presence of SAVA, and therefore confirmed the presence of Acyclovir, the drug is not indicated for children in the treatment of Acyclovir-associated aplastic anaemia. However, the new study also confirmed that the drug is an effective and safe alternative to Acyclovir for the treatment of SAVA.
Acyclovir is a nucleoside analogue with the active ingredient Acyclovir HCl. It is a nucleoside analogue, which is an analogue of the nucleotide guanosine monophosphate (GMP) in the 5-monophosphate group of the nucleotide class. This means that it is a nucleoside analogue which is active and able to cause the DNA damage. Acyclovir is an active nucleoside analogue, meaning that it is able to bind to the 5-monophosphate-specific DNA polymerase enzyme.
Acyclovir is indicated for the treatment of Acyclovir-associated aplastic anaemia (AUC) in children from the age of 6 months. The risk of AUC is thought to be higher if the child is younger, as it may result from increased levels of the virus in the blood, which may then lead to a recurrence of AUC. The risk of AUC can be higher in people who are pregnant, who are lactating, or who are at risk of HIV infection. It is also known that there is a risk of AUC from pregnancy. If the pregnancy is not detected, there may be a possibility that the drug is unlikely to be effective.
Acyclovir is not indicated for the treatment of SAVA in children from the age of 3 years old or for the treatment of AUC in children from the age of 6 months old or in children from the age of 7 years old. It is also not indicated for the treatment of AUC in children from the age of 6 months old or in children from the age of 7 years old.
It is important to note that the risk of AUC from pregnancy is also high. If a pregnant woman becomes pregnant, then there is a risk of infection, as the virus is passed out of the uterus. The drug should therefore not be used during pregnancy.

If the risk of AUC from pregnancy is increased, then treatment should be started with Acyclovir and close monitoring of the patient and laboratory values should be performed in order to adjust the dose of Acyclovir. This can be done in the absence of a pregnancy.
Acyclovir should be used only for treatment of SAVA in children from the age of 3 years. If the risk of SAVA is increased, the patient should be referred to an alternative treatment, such as immunosuppressant medication or antiviral drugs.
